For best results, apply in the Spring when the air temperatures are consistently 50 degrees or higher, usually from mid-April to early May in West Michigan. The grass should be actively growing and have been mowed twice. This product does need to be applied to a dry lawn. Do not apply if rain is in the forecast. Wait 24 hours to water in. Keep pets off the lawn for 24 hours after application. Always follow manufacturer’s directions on the packaging.
Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action for Seeding
Scotts Triple Action for Seeding is your “go-to” if you’re starting a lawn from seed and want to save a little time. It prevents crabgrass and weed seeds from germinating for 6 weeks but doesn’t negatively impact your newly laid grass seed. In fact, Triple Action for Seeding encourages growth and grass seed germination by feeding the newly seed lawn. Now that’s a time-saver!
For best results, apply in the Spring when the air temperatures are consistently 60 degrees or higher, usually in early May in West Michigan. This product does need to be applied to a dry lawn over the top of newly laid grass seed then watered lightly after applying. Note it does not kill existing weeds or crabgrass. Keep pets out of area for 24 hours after application. Always follow manufacturer’s directions on the packaging.
