Home and Garden Show Memories

In my younger days, I would take few days at this time of year and fly someplace more…spring-like. I gotta say, the sights and smells of the West Michigan Home and Garden Show combined with the beautiful sunshine of the past several day seems to have done the trick again this year.

I can’t believe it’s been almost a week since the Home and Garden Show. There were so many great exhibits and speakers. My daughter’s personal favorite – and most of the kids, it seems – was the Tree House. She also liked the waterfall display as well as the duck pond (complete with ducklings to pet). I would agree with her; they all had beautiful flowers and landscaping. Lots of ideas and inspiration!

As ‘they’ say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Enjoy and think spring!

Until next time….

The Tree House was actually part of a larger, beautifully designed exhibit. It was surrounded by spring flowers - and most of the time, laughing kids!

Like I said, it was one of my daughter's favorite exhibits...we went back 3 times!

The Waterfall display was another popular attraction. Not only was it amazing, you could also walk across the stones to the other side!

This year, my daughter decided to be brave and pet the ducklings. They were very soft and it was very cool!
