Adult beetles – including the nasty Japanese Beetle – are now laying their eggs in your lawn. Soon the young grubs will hatch. July is a great time to put down your Grub Control.
While your lawn may be “stressed” because of this dry hot weather, chances are any crabgrass in your lawn in growing splendidly. Don’t get crabby! If you didn’t get a chance to put down a pre-emergent in the spring, now is a great time apply a post-emergent.
Even the bugs are looking for someplace to cool off this summer. Don’t share your indoor living space with them. Spray along doors and entry areas to keep those pesky insects outside.
