The Bulbs Have It!

The warm weather has certainly been nice. A little sunshine and some blue skies can certainly brighten your mood. With the warm air temps as well as warmer than typical soil temps, you may be concerned about the spring flowering bulbs that are popping through the ground. Is it too early? Is there something you can do to slow them down or protect them?

If you really want to slow them down, you can try shading them with a thin layer of mulch. Otherwise, the best thing to do is simply let nature take its course.  Bulb flowers like tulips can be a lot hardier than you think!

Don't worry if your spring flowering bulbs are starting to pop through the ground!
