“Thyme” to ask for help

my herb collection... it looked good in the beginning.

my herb collection… it looked good in the beginning.

I bought collection of herbs and had high hopes for delicious lasagna using fresh basil that I grew all by myself. Sadly, it seems that my dreams are short lived because I’m killing it! Bye bye fresh organic recipes it looks like I’m going back to microwave meals. Never ask me to babysit your garden because I will ruin it. Is there still time to get a plastic plant to put in my window? I’m pretty good at taking care of those.

Next, I sucked it up and bought a well damaged leaf and these pictures to the Flowerland in Wyoming. Daun was the plant doctor that day and he told me what to do. “You need Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew”, he said. In addition to the adorable name he told me about the origin of the product. It was discovered in the Caribbean in this abandon rum distillery, not only was it abandon by people but also by bugs. It turns out that there is a bacteria called Spinosad that kills bug within a couple of days.

First problem: Dumb Bugs.

Stems indicate that it is overwatered and may have root rot

Second problem: It is overwatered

Daun looked at my pictures and he said that my basil looks like it is starting to have root rot. It has been raining every night this week and I left it outside to get drenched.

I hope everything works out, but I’m not making any promises.
